I sent a beat-up Smith & Wesson 629 in 44 mag to Gemini Customs to clean-up and fit new grips (the standard-issue handles beat-up your hands like Mike Tyson). The new grips are carved from Golden Tiger-Eye Desert Ironwood. They’re hard to photograph, but they light up in sunlight or incandescent light. Jealous? Good. Also had the trigger smoothed.
